Affiliate marketing can make your ebook worth several times the price you charge for it. By embedding the right links in your writing you will be encouraging people to give your book away. Here is how it works.
You write you ebook on your topic. It should be in a niche market where there are many people hungry for more information. Throughout the book, as well as at the end, you will give links to different products and services that you believe will be helpful to your readers. Every time someone clicks on one of those links and makes a purchase you will receive an affiliate commission. This could be months or even years later if you are careful to include the proper affiliate links.
You may be wondering how you will find these products and services to recommend. The very best way is to make referrals to things and people you have actually dealt with personally. My personal preference is to actually purchase something before I ever refer it to others, but that is entirely up to you. You don’t want to lose credibility for recommending a product that is not very good. Click Bank checks out its products thoroughly, but I still like to see it firsthand.
You then take your affiliate link and place it in your ebook. You may also want to purchase a domain name that you can forward to your link. That way you will still earn your commission if the person prints out your book and types in the wrong link.
